What is Lightdek?

Lightdek is the name of MFE’s slab formwork, a crucial component in concrete construction projects. Essential for creating flat, level floor and roof surfaces, the formwork acts as a mould to hold the concrete in place while it cures.

Fast and safe

  • Lightweight handset system with an average weight of 34 kg/m2, eliminating the need for heavy lifting or cranes
  • Fast assembly with a minimal 3-man crew – training provided by MFE’s on-site support team and requiring no special equipment
  • Fast, systematic and safe to dismantle using quickrelease props
During formwork stripping, prop heads stay in place to avoid shock loading on the slab and ensure continued structural support.

  • Both standard and customisable panel sizes available
  • Robust and capable of supporting slab thicknesses of
    up to 650mm
  • Adjustable props for different heights and thickness
  • Can be integrated with traditional formwork beams or
